Tess

Tess is a Level 7 Degree-qualified massage and lymphatic therapist as well as a personal trainer, which means she has a deep understanding and curiosity of musculoskeletal function. Why might you be experiencing discomfort, how do we address or work with the cause as well as your symptoms and what may help manage or aid in preventing pain/discomfort from returning, or to work with long-term musculoskeletal challenges. She has 20 years of experience in massage therapy.

Tess aims to work in with you as well as your other health and allied professionals to make sure you’re in the best hands. We use techniques that suit your body to optimise movement, recovery or maintenance - whatever that looks like for you. This might include deep tissue work, sports massage, myofascial release, gentle recovery techniques, scar work, lymphatic drainage, stretching, activation or some of each of the above.

Tess may be a good fit for you as a therapist if you are any of the following:

  • active and working toward an event or movement pattern you’d like massage support in

  • working through or finished up a rehabilitation programme and looking to complement your physio/osteo/chiro with bodywork

  • proactively looking to keep your body moving for longevity

  • dealing with aches and pains from work, life, study, activity

  • currently or previously going through cancer treatment

  • have any scar tissue you’d like worked with for optimal use of your body

  • looking for an experienced therapist who’s been in industry a long time

  • curious about specific, remedial massage and eager to try it in a safe, professional environment
